AKUVO Names William Coffey Chief Risk and Data Officer

MALVERN, Pa. – AKUVO, a leading technology organization specializing in collections and credit risk management, is excited to announce the appointment of William Coffey as Chief Risk and Data Officer. He brings decades of experience in transformative technology, cybersecurity, and risk management to AKUVO, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at WSFS Bank, a regional bank offering a range of financial services in the Mid-Atlantic.

In his new role, Mr. Coffey will oversee AKUVO's data strategy, risk management, and cybersecurity initiatives, which are integral to AKUVO’s next phase of growth. His extensive background working with banks will also support strategic efforts to continue to expand the company’s bank market share.

At WSFS Bank, Mr. Coffey developed and implemented technology strategies across the organization. His leadership in software development, data analytics, and cloud infrastructure has been pivotal in driving organic and acquisition growth. Prior to WSFS, Mr. Coffey spent nearly 20 years at Vanguard, where he held senior roles including Head of the Program Management Office and Chief Technology and Operations Officer for the Legal and Compliance Division.

 

Mr. Coffey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Information Systems from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
