New MSUFCU On-Campus Location Open at UM Health-Sparrow

LANSING, Mich. — MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) and University of Michigan Health-Sparrow held a grand opening Monday, Dec. 2, for a new MSUFCU location in the UM Health-Sparrow building at 1215 E. Michigan Ave. in Lansing.


“MSUFCU is committed to providing Sparrow team members the necessary resources and tools to achieve their financial goals and dreams,” said April Clobes, President and CEO at MSUFCU. “This specialty engagement space features video tellers, a technology bar, and office space for member meetings that can be scheduled with MSUFCU staff.”


Additionally, the renewed partnership between MSUFCU and UM Health-Sparrow provides unique opportunities for financial education programs and specialized products.


Specialty offerings from MSUFCU for UM Health-Sparrow team members include:

  • Special-Term Hero Loans and Professional Mortgages: A simplified mortgage process with preferred terms.

  • Commercial Loans and Lines of Capital: Financing for professional needs, including equipment and office space.

  • Nurse and EMT Student Loans: Special student loans are available to go back to school to get necessary certifications/degrees. Deferred payments and rate reduction with direct deposit.

  • Wealth Management Solutions: Short- and long-term investment resources to help team members make the most of their money.

  • Financial Education Services: Opportunities for all shifts, virtually and in person. Topics include budgeting, first-time homebuying, responsible credit, and account security.

The partnership will also bring ongoing support to the Sparrow Foundation. MSUFCU will make a $10 donation with each new UM Health-Sparrow team member account.
